Sally A. Rosenblum, 76, of Newburgh, New York died at her home on April 13, 2017. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, Sally was born in Bridgeport, CT. She had a love for life and her passion was family. Sally’s pride was her annual family Chanukah parties and her smile always lit up the room. Known for her kindness and everlasting warmth, Sally was smart, witty and had a great sense of humor. Retired after 20 years as a senior financial analyst, Sally was a natural with numbers. She was also a dedicated volunteer for both the Hudson Valley Alzheimer’s Association and Congregation Agudas Israel. Sally is survived by her husband, Simon of 58 years; children, Sandy, Risa, Raymond, Randy and Abe and six grandchildren, Joshua, Mark, Benjamin, Miranda, Noah and Zachary. Sally is predeceased by her parents, Benjamin and Mary and sister, Phyllis. Sally is survived by her loving siblings, Joe Weisblatt, Joey and Terry Jacobs, Bernie and Janice Jacobs, and numerous wonderful nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral will take place on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at 2 pm at Congregation Agudas Israel on 290 North Street, Newburgh, NY. Burial will take place at the Congregation Agudas Israel Cemetery on Erie Avenue, New Windsor, NY. The family welcomes visitors Sunday until 7 pm, Monday – Thursday 3 – 7 pm, with a minyan to follow on Wednesday, 4/19/17 and Thursday, 4/20/17.
