A man was arrested after police say they discovered he was running an elaborate marijuana grow operation from his home.

Stony Point Police Department executed a search warrant on Lenni Lenape Court in the Town of Stony Point, following an investigation into reports of marijuana being grown and cultivated at the residence.

During the execution of the warrant, operation including ventilation, lighting and multiple pieces of equipment used in the growing of marijuana were located and seized along with numerous marijuana plants in various stages of growth. Photos above.

Vincent Guarino, 36, of Stony Point was charged with 1st-degree criminal possession of marijuana, a felony, and unlawfully growing cannabis, a misdemeanor.

Guarino was arraigned in Stony Point Justice Court and released on $500 bail. He is due back in Court on September 1.

The Stony Point Police were assisted by The Rockland County Sheriff’s Patrol and BCI division as well as The Haverstraw Police Department K9 Unit.
