Odette J. Case, a Former Hopewell Junction Resident, Dies at 80
OCALA, FL – Odette J. Case, 80, formerly of Hopewell Junction, died on January 28, 2018 at the Legacy Hospice House in Ocala, FL.
Odette was born in France on July 29, 1937. She worked as a dressmaker for Mary H. Abdoo Bridal in Poughkeepsie before starting her own business in Hopewell Junction.
Odette is survived by her husband of 56 years, John L. “Jack” Case of Ocala, FL; her sister, Aurora; her brother, Gerard; her brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Rodney “Hubba” of Austin, TX, Arlene Case of Fort Edward; and Robert Nichols of Wappingers Falls; her nieces and nephews, Dr. Chris and Jennifer Case, Russell and Lynn Nichols, Scott and Christine Nichols; and great nieces and great nephews, Jack and Katie Case, Victoria and Ryan Nichols, and Rebecca Nichols.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 10am-12pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 12pm followed by entombment in the Community Mausoleum at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
