Personally, I prefer to visit and of course, support local coffee shops. In the Hudson Valley, we have a great community that takes pride in this.

Usually, baristas in our area enjoy what they do along with the coffee brewers who feel grateful to do what they love. This sets the vibe for any space within a coffee shop, cafe and I’m here for it!

Haven Roast is a new coffee company in Sullivan County, NY. They opened their doors to the community in a busy location near Monticello.  Haven Roast is located at 42 Kitz Road off of the busy, 17B with other locally owned businesses as well.

This location was the home to different businesses in the past including Papa Luke’s Pizzeria.  Besides serving coffee, Haven Roast shared that they also serve ‘joy, pastries, beans and good energy’ Sign me up! I’m all about good vibes, energy within anything in life and this new business spoke to me.

Also on their menu, they highlighted their brunch broad which included caprese, ice cream, marinara croissants and avocado toast.

How Can We Get Our Coffee Fix From Monticello, NY's Haven Roast?

When they’re open, guests can visit them from 8am until 4pm. However, Haven Roast shared that they are closed for the season but coffee lovers can still get their fix!

Thankfully, we can visit their online shop to receive their coffee blends at our door. In addition to their online shop, we can visit their Connecticut location when were in the area

Online, we can purchase their coffee blends including Colombian, Brazil Cerrado Decaf and more. Their products are also Kosher Certified.

What Other New Businesses Have Opened Within The Monticello, NY Area?

In addition to Haven Roast, we can also support other businesses in the area. The Woodstock Way Groovy Eatery is a new restaurant that is down the road from Haven Roast. 

I enjoyed their American food options while experiencing the vibe of the 1969 Woodstock Music Festival. This groovy eatery has vintage decor and more of this iconic and historic, three day music event!

Also down the road is another new business, Bison & Bourbon. This restaurant took over the former Brew II.  Bowling on Broadway is a new entertainment space that has 12 lanes for bowling and over 40 arcade games as well.

Also in the Monticello, NY area, shoppers can visit the new, Five Below too.
