None of us are quite sure when things will return to "normal" after the COVID 19 outbreak. One thing is for sure we know that things won't be like they were before the pandemic. Due to the fact that no one can predict what this summer will look like some of our Hudson Valley traditions are going to have to go in a different direction.

The Monday Night Cinema at Water Street Market is one of the local events looking at having to reinvent the event for summer 2020. Originally there was a call made for movie requests for the summer outdoor series. But last night the organizer of this outdoor tradition announced on Facebook that there would be no outdoor movies at Water Street Market this summer. Instead they will put together a list of films that people can watch at their homes on Monday nights. The idea being that it is still movie night just not at the market.

It seems that a lot of these types of events may have to go with a virtual concept this year verses the actual physical gathering of people at one location.
