Michael M. Ambrosetti, a Lifelong Newburgh Resident, Dies at 37
Michael M. Ambrosetti, a lifelong resident of Newburgh, entered into rest on Thursday, August 3, 2017. He was born June 24, 1980, the son of Charles R. Ambrosetti and Signe Taylor. Mike was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Charles J. Ambrosetti and his maternal grandparents, Jonathan (Jack Swede) and Helen Taylor.
He is survived by his son, Cruz, Amy Caputo, his father Charles R. Ambrosetti and wife Karen, his mother, Signe Taylor, his brothers, Dan and Chuckie, his grandmother, Marilyn (Mim), many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends, especially Mike Pazoga, Shawn O’Boy, Paul Cubito, Steve Olivier, and all his union brothers and sisters.
Mike was a steamfitter in LU 373, and an executive board member. His personality was bigger than life itself and he touched everyone he crossed paths with. He loved being with his son Cruz, and his best friend and mother of his son, Amy. He loved them with all his heart. Mike was loved by everyone who knew him. His laugh was unforgettable and contagious. He will be greatly missed by so many people and he will live in our hearts forever.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm on Tuesday, August 8 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, with a service and sharing at 7:00.
