Meat at the Movies: John Wick Is Thinking He’s Back

It's a big movie-going weekend with Valentine's Day coming up, and there's a little something for everyone. Check out what's happening with Meat at the Movies!

First up, there's John Wick: Chapter Two, and if you haven't seen John Wick, fix that immediately. It is one of the best action movies of the decade, starring Keanu Reeves as an ex-hitman out for revenge after Russian gangsters kill his dead wife's dog. Picking up where that movie left off, it sounds like Chapter Two goes bigger and even more insane, and I'm hearing it might even be better than the first film. So, pretty high expectations going into this one.

Then there's The Lego Batman Movie, which is a spinoff of The Lego Movie featuring that movie's breakout character, who just happens to also be Batman. The Lego Movie was fantastic, and it sounds like The Lego Batman Movie is pretty great too, especially if you're a fan of the caped crusader. Ironically, this Lego Batman movie is getting a better reaction than the actual Batman movie that came out last year.

Finally, we've got Fifty Shades Darker, the sequel to Fifty Shades of Grey, just in time for Valentine's Day. This is strictly for fans only. Reviews have been overwhelmingly pretty negative, but if you liked the first one, you'll probably like this, too. If you're not embarrassed about telling the ticket counter that you want to see the new Fifty Shades movie, then it's here for you.
