A man suffered multiple lacerations during a parking lot fight in Dutchess County early Saturday morning.  

Beacon Patrol Officers observed a fight in progress in a parking on Church Street in Beacon, N.Y. Upon observation of police, the parties involved began to flee the scene.

Officers were able to detain one of the subjects involved in the altercation following a brief foot pursuit.

Beacon HQ then received a call for a subject with multiple laceration in parking lot of 361 Main Street.

During the investigation of the incident determined that subject was the victim of a stabbing that had just occurred in the Church Street parking lot.

The male subject that was detained, identified as Shaquan M. Willis, was in possession of a knife that was determined to be the weapon used to stab the male victim.

the victim was transported to Mid-Hudson Regional Hospital, where he was treated for multiple stab wounds to his face and torso area.

Willis was arrested and charged with Assault first-degree, Criminal Possession of a Weapon fourth-degree, and Resisting Arrest.

Willis was arraigned and remanded to Dutchess County Jail in lieu of $25,000 cash bail, or $75,000 bond.
