Lori Ann Heady, a Former Hopewell Junction Resident, Dies at 57

CORNELIUS, NC – Lori Ann Heady, 57, formerly of Hopewell Junction, NY, died on March 15, 2018 at Novant Health Huntersville Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Poughkeepsie on March 3, 1961, she was the daughter of the late George and Marion (Fisher) Lown. On June 4, 1988 in Hopewell Junction, NY, Lori married Kenneth P. Heady, Sr. who predeceased her on March 15, 2011.

Lori is survived by her son, Kenny Heady of Cornelius, NC, her daughter, Cheyanne Heady of Huntersville, NC; her boyfriend, David Brown of Ladson, SC; her siblings, Theresa Nemeth and her husband Bill of Hopewell Junction, NY; Roz Garcey of Hopewell Junction, NY; and George Lown, Jr. of Hopewell Junction, NY; her dog, Zoey; and many extended family members and friends.

Lori enjoyed playing board games, watching investigating TV shows, and going to shooting ranges. She loved to eat Clausen pickles, whole milk, and Stouffers macaroni and cheese.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 1:30-4:30 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82 Hopewell Junction, NY. A Memorial Service will follow at 4:30 pm at the funeral home.
