Lilian C. Lombardi, a Wappingers Falls Resident, Dies at 57
WAPPINGERS FALLS - Lilian C. Lombardi, 57, an area resident since 1993, died on March 21, 2017 at Putnam Hospital Center. She previously lived in Sleepy Hollow.
Born in the Philippines on January 21, 1960, she was the daughter of Ladenia (Aceron) Castrence and the late Jose Castrence. She had been employed at the Stop and Shop in Poughkeepsie for many years.
On July 5, 1983 in the Philippines, Lilian married Vincenzo Lombardi who survives at home. She is also survived by her daughters, Jinky Castrence of Milton, Sogene Lombardi of the Philippines, and Neilen-May Kabrick and her husband Kevin of Rhode Island; her granddaughters, Aicy and Charleen; her mother, Ladenia Castrence; her siblings, Myra de Ausen and her husband Ricardo of Wappingers Falls, Gimina Timpug of the Philippines, Jose Castrence, Jr. and his wife Erna of the Philippines, Roger Castrence of the Philippines, Orly and Janet Castrence of the Philippines, Chuna Belmonte and her husband Rodante of the Philippines, and Ellen Dait and her husband JoJo of the Philippines; two very special friends, Arlene Erickson and her husband Robert and Pranom McDermott; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephew including her niece, Myleen Fischer and her husband Charles and their daughter Charleen; her Goddaughter, Susan; and her beloved Chihuahuas, Boo Boo, Da Da, Cupcake, Peanut, Stella, And Alvin. She was also predeceased by her brother, Joseph “Mamang” Castrence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday at 10 am at St. Columba Church, 835 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. Burial at Sleepy Hollow Cemetery will be at the family’s convenience.
