This is the perfect way for the Hudson Valley to get through the coronavirus together!

These are definitely trying times across the country and after sitting and thinking about it and looking around online I think I found a great way to use up some of the free time you and the family are enjoying nowadays.

What is the one thing, that when you think about it, makes you happy, or smile? For me it's Christmas time! Right? I just love everything that the holidays are about....especially the decorations.

With that in mind, why don't all of us here in the Hudson Valley head to our attics, closets, garages, wherever you keep your Christmas lights and put them up just for the heck of it. You don't need to take out everything you would put up in December, just the lights and the inflatables, if you have any and put those bad boys up in your yard.

If everyone in the Valley did this we could all drive around at night looking at lights and according to Yahoo, driving around to look at Christmas lights is a safe activity to enjoy while social distancing. Plus, it's a great distraction for kids who are home from school.

I'm going home today and stringing up some lights and we encourage you guys to do the same! If you do it, make sure you snap a picture of yours and share it with us on any of our social media accounts or send it to us through the Wolf app.

Listen to the Wakin' Up With CJ and Jess Show weekday mornings from 6AM to 10AM on The Wolf. Stream us live through the website, Alexa-enabled device, Google Home or The Wolf mobile app.
