Intoxicated Woman With Two Children in Car, Struggles With Police

A Dutchess County woman was arrested following a traffic stop, where she was found to be intoxicated with two children in her vehicle.

On October, 18, 2018 troopers conducted a traffic stop on a 2012 Subaru Impreza on State Route 9 in the Town of Redhook.

During the course of the investigation, the operator, identified as Jillian A. Hargrove, 36, of Rhinebeck was found to be under the influence of alcohol with two children under the age of 16 in her vehicle.

After a brief struggle, Hargrove was taken into custody without further incident. Hargrove was charged with Aggravated DWI with a Child in the Vehicle (Leandra's Law) a felony, and Resisting Arrest.

She was released with an apearance ticket and is schedule to back in the Town of Redhook court this week.
