I know I'm a little late posting this but I had to give Adams Fairacre Farms a shoutout because I love this.

At a time where we never seem to be able to slow down and you think the all mighty dollar rules everything, it's nice to know that there are still businesses in the Hudson Valley that take the time to show how important their employees are.

I feel a little hypocritical as I took this photo outside of Adams after going there to make a purchase but I was able to hold off on my Adams salad for another day in exchange for some hard worker to get some much-needed rest from his or her daily grind.

This isn't the first time I've seen Adams shut down for a holiday and I'm sure it won't be the last.

I'm not scolding any business that is open on holidays but I think it's important to show employees good gestures when it's possible.

Every time they do I'll be one of the first to compliment them on a job well done.

Is your place of business in the Hudson Valley open on holidays?
