Guy A. Alsdorf, an Area Resident, Dies at 54

Guy A. Alsdorf, 54, entered into rest on January 27, 2018. The son of the late Joseph A. Alsdorf Sr. and Doris (Terwilliger) Alsdorf, he was born December 2, 1963 in Newburgh.

Guy was a 1982 graduate of Cornwall High School. He will be remembered for his big heart and even bigger stories. He was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was known by many and loved by all. As Guy would say “AU for ‘82 ‘Hail Freddie’ Till we meet again my friends”.

Guys is survived by his siblings, JoAnn Butler, Joseph Alsdorf Jr. and wife Patricia, Donna Nixon and husband Edward, Darlene Lorenzen and companion Paul Morris, Wayne Alsdorf and wife Cecelia, Shryl Norris, Michelle Alsdorf Culliton, Louis Keel and Dave Cuccias; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial visitation will be held from 3-8pm on Friday, February 2 with a service at 6pm at Vails Gate Firehouse, 872 Blooming Grove Tpk., Vails Gate, NY. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
