Great Mexican Food Around The Hudson Valley

Happy Cinco De Mayo! It's a pretty dreary day here in the Hudson Valley, so why not enjoy some great local Mexican cuisine to turn your day around? May I suggest also a delicious margarita or cold Pacifico?

I'm a big fan of Mexican Food and today it seems appropriate to share my favorite Hudson Valley spots.  Here are my top four Mexican Food resturaunts in the Hudson Valley. If you have any suggestions head to our Facebook page and let me know.

Armadillo, Kingston- Recently my friends and I went out to Armadillo in Kingston and let me tell you, I was full for days. Their chips and salsa was fantastic and they give you this cheese like dip along with it. My mouth is watering. Of course we ordered some Margarita's too. Toasted Coconut Margarita? Yes, please! I ended up ordering a steak burrito. If I could go back right this second I'd be there in a heartbeat.

La Puerta Azul, Millbrook- I've gone here for my birthday for the past three years. The guacamole is out of this world as is their Sangria. I love a good empenada and these are by far my favorite. The chipotle sauce drizzled over the top? Have mercy.

Los Hornitos, Wappingers Falls- I go here at least once a month. I usually go with a simple chicken wrap, but the salsa they give you with it? It's a perfect mix of savoury and spicy. They're a real authentic Mexican Bakery so if you're looking for mouth watering pastries and a great lunch spot, you have to stop on by.
