Grace E. Steriti, a Poughkeepsie Resident, Dies at 91

Grace E. Steriti, 91, of the town of Poughkeepsie, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center. She was born in the Bronx September 16, 1924, the daughter of Joseph and Rose Kalister. Grace was employed for over 25 years at the former Grand Union in Wappingers Falls. She loved traveling and playing Domino's with her friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Vincent James Steriti on August 20, 1986. Survivors include her daughter, Diane Brown (Patrick), son, Richard Steriti (Lynda), grandchildren, Danielle Salvatore(Richard), Lisa Manino(Anthony), Jason Steriti(Melissa), Great grandchildren, Rachel Mannino, Michael Mannino, Nicholas Steriti, John Steriti, Luke Steriti, and Armando Salvatore. There will be no calling hours. Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 10:00 AM at St. Marys Cemetery, Wappingers Falls. Arrangements are in charge of the Delehanty Funeral Home, Wappingers Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
