Eloy Lambert – A Newburgh Resident, Dies at 97

Eloy Lambert of the Town of Newburgh, retired superintendent for the Windsor Parks Apartments in Queens entered into rest Monday, December 12, 2016 at the Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. He was 97.

The son of the late Lamberto Lambert and Teresa Lambertt de Llorens, Eloy was born May 10, 1919 in Baracoa, Cuba.

Survivors include his children; Eloy Lambertt of Miami, Florida, Jose Manuel Lambert of Miami, Florida, Elizabeth Lambert Gullo of Bethpage, NY, Anthony Lambert of Massapequa, NY, David Lambert of Clinton, NC and Eduardo Lambert of Elizabeth, NJ; sisters, Eloina Hernandez of Colton, CA and Emelina Matutes of Lorma Linda, CA, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Eloy was predeceased by his wife, Gladys Lambert in 2014.

Visitation for family and friends will take place Friday, December 16th from 4 to 8 p.m. at White & Venuto Funeral Home, 188 North Plank Rd., Newburgh. Funeral Mass will be offered 10 a.m., Saturday, December 17th at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Plattekill. Burial to follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Newburgh.
