It is happening again. Here is another alert from the FDA.gov that is telling everyone that there is a possible contamination to a food product that might be in your freezer. What will you need to check for?

This time, it is bags of frozen corn. The corn was sold across the United States under the brand names, Laura Lynn Frozen Cut Corn, 16oz and 32oz bags, Key Food Frozen corn in 16oz bags and Better Valu Cut Corn in 14oz bags.

The reason for the recall? During random testing, of a sample purchased at retail, by the state of North Carolina Department of Agriculture, the corn items tested positive for Listeria. No one has reported being ill from the consumption of the corn. The company that process it, is recalling the items out of an abundance of caution. Should you own a package of the corn, return it to the place of purchase for replacement of refund.
