The hilarious Demetri Martin is headed for Poughkeepsie this fall when he performs at The Bardavon Theater on Friday, September 20th. Tickets for the general public are on sale this Friday while members can purchase them a full 24 hours earlier with a $5 discount.

Martin got his start doing stand up in New York City then as a writer for the Conan O'Brien show. He followed that up with regular appearances on The Daily Show and has honed his one-man stand-up routine into an award-winning show. He's won the Perrier Award at the International Film Festival in Scotland and took home Australia's Barry Award.

He's released two comedy albums and has three hour-long stand-up comedy specials. His latest special can be seen on Netflix, Demetri Martin Live (at the time).

Have you ever considered becoming a member at the Bardavon and UPAC? Members receive advance notice on shows coming to the area, the chance to buy tickets before they go on sale, and access to great seats.
