A Catskill man was arrested Sunday for reckless endangerment along with several other charges, according to a press release from the New York State Police.

Several New York State Police units went out and responded to a call at a residence in the Town of Catskill. The 911 caller reported that there had been an assault with a weapon.Allegedly Shawn O'Neil,38 of Catskill, fired off one round inside the residence as well as physically assaulting another male who was in the residence at the time. When Police caught up with O'neil he was found with a small amount of steroids.

O’Neil was arraigned on the charges by the Village of Catskill Justice Katherine Izzo and the subject was remanded to the Greene County Jail in lieu $5000 cash or a $10,000 bond. O’Neil was ordered to appear in the Town of Catskill Court at a later date. He faces charges ranging from reckless endangerment to criminal possession of a controlled substance
