Ariana Grande Only Allowing Clear Bags At Her Albany, MSG, Barclays Shows
Following the bombing incident that happened at Ariana Grande's concert in Manchester, security measures are being heightened at her upcoming tour.
On Sunday, February 24, Ariana Grande announced that fans will be required to have only clear bags at her upcoming concerts. The Sweetener/thank u, next tour is going to have heightened and stricter security, according to a tweet from Ariana.
This information is also found on Ticketmaster, where tickets are being sold for her show. The requirements are that all bags must be 100% clear, made of plastic, vinyl, or PVC. Bags must also not exceed 12" x 6"x 12". You may also only have one bag.
Ariana tweeted the information out saying that fans/ticket holders are encouraged to pre-order clear bags to make the super strict security process run smoothly. Page Six reports that Madison Square Garden and Barclays typically do not require clear bags, but Ariana Grande's tour is requiring the different security measures.
Ariana Grande's Sweetener/Thank u, next tour makes stops at the Times Union Center in Albany, Madison Square Garden, and the Barclays Center.
