Today's question was, WE DON’T NEED THEM AS MUCH ANYMORE, BUT THERE ARE STILL ABOUT 95,000 OF THESE IN THE U.S. WHAT IS IT? If you missed it, the answer was "Payphones" and that got us talking about how most of the payphones have disappeared from the Hudson Valley.
Do you know where there is a pay phone anywhere in the Valley? We had a bunch of people tell us that most Stewart's Shops have a payphone inside, there is one outside of Holy Cow in Red Hook, thanks to Carol who checked in on Facebook.
Greg texted us that there is one on the wall at McDonald's in Fishkill, near the Home Depot. Laura also let us know that there is one at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds.
