It's the 2nd annual event and it's set for April 30th.

After the first Pets Alive 5k being such a sucess they are back again and we hope it is bigger and better than ever.

This year the event will be at Fancher-Davidge Park in Middletown, on Sunday April 30th and will have something for all pet lovers.

Pets Alive is a great organization that has a mission to improve the lives of companion animals everywhere by any means possible including; rescue, adoption, advocacy, collaboration, intervention and education. They are one of the oldest no-kill animal sanctuaries in the Northeast and directly impacts the lives of over 1000 animals each year through adoption, rescue, education, training and there Trap Neuter Release program for community cats.

The 5K race will be timed with prizes for the top race finishers male/female as well as age groups. Walkers are welcome to participate.

This year the 5K course will features a double loop around the scenic lake and be held rain or shine.

All proceeds will go to benefit the animals in Pets Alive's care.
