3 Hudson Valley Police Officers Save Woman’s Life
A Hudson Valley woman’s life was saved after she was found overdosing inside a hotel bathroom
Recently, Town of Wallkill police officers Michael Nolte and Daniel Graham responded to emergency call at the Super 8 Motel on Route 211 in Wallkill.
Upon arrival, the officers found a 22-year-old woman from Goshen unconscious in a bathroom. The woman was unresponsive and demonstrating signs of an overdose, police say.
The officers, assisted by officer Laura Gannon, began delivering emergency first aid. Gannon later gave the woman a nasal dose of Narcan, a drug which is known to reverse the effects from an opioid overdose.
Within a minute, the woman regained consciousness, authorities say. She was then transported by Town of Wallkill Volunteer Ambulance Corps to Orange Regional Medical Center.
