After the heatwave we were hit with an all this rain, I think the Hudson Valley is ready for fall.

When will it actually get here?

The Hudson Valley is known for it's amazing foliage and beautiful views during the fall. Predictions say the Hudson Valley will hit peak fall foliage the second and third week into October.

We also have hundreds of places to enjoy fall festivities like apple and pumpkin picking, hay rides, bonfires and enjoying hot cider donuts.

You can enjoy all of that until it's actually fall. The Autumnal Equinox will arrive this Saturday, September 22nd. More specifically the Autumnal Equinox will start in the Northern hemisphere at 9:52pm on Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in New York.

If you're looking to have a Sunday fall Funday in the Hudson Valley this weekend to celebrate the official start to the season, the weather is looking just right. The National Weather Service is reporting a mostly sunny day on Sunday with a high near 69.

Sounds like the perfect, crisp, fall day to me.
