Starbucks unleashed a frighting new drink on the Hudson Valley on Thursday, but is this limited-edition beverage worth rushing to the store for?

It's called the Zombie Frappuccino, and like this spring's Unicorn Frappuccino, it's only going to be available for just a few days. A Grande-sized cup of this creme-based coffee drink contains almost 450 calories and what we're assuming is a lot of sugar.

At first glance the drink is pretty impressive. The Halloween-colored beverage is a swirl of Frankenstein green and bloody reds and purples. The drink is topped off with a pinkish-colored mound of whipped cream which actually looks a bit like brains.

But what about the flavor? The drink is said to evoke the tastes of Halloween, which in this case is a caramel apple. We ordered one of the very first Zombie Frappuccinos that was made at the Poughkeepsie Starbucks and gave it a full review:

If you want to try the Zombie Frappuccino for yourself you better hurry. It will only be available at Hudson Valley Starbucks locations through Halloween on Tuesday.
