If you have ever been to a Dinosaur Bar-B-Que then you understand. If you haven't then you should educate yourself on some of the best BBQs in New York State.

If there's one thing I know, it's delicious food and where to find it.

I love BBQ and it's quite obvious that most of the country agrees with me because numbers don't lie. More people have started to grill outside over the past two years and the pandemic probably has something to do with it. Home BBQ grill sales skyrocketed from a $5 billion industry in 2019 to an over $8 billion industry so far this year. Even BBQ sauces sales were up. Many of us love charred meats. If we aren't cooking it ourselves in the backyard or going to a friend's house then we're going to a restaurant to let the professionals make t for us.

Earlier this week I compiled a list of some of the best BBQ restaurants near the Newburgh area. While I was making that list, it dawned on me that the best BBQ restaurants in the state don't have a location in the lower Hudson Valley region. It's honestly shocking.

I'm talking about the famous Dinosaur Bar-B-Que. If you have ever been to a Dinosaur Bar-B-Que then you understand. If you haven't then you should educate yourself on some of the best BBQ around. If you haven't been to a restaurant then perhaps you have seen their sauce for sale in local grocery stores. They are based out of Syracuse, New York but they have restaurants in Brooklyn, Harlem, Buffalo, Rochester, and Troy. They all have very positive reviews online.

The lower Hudson Valley needs one right away. I think Middletown, New York would be the perfect central location for a new Dinosaur location. The BBQ restaurant market is huge and there is room for more around here.
