Did you ever wonder how beer cans get filled? So did we.

That's why we took a field trip to the brand new canning line at Mill House Brewing Company in Poughkeepsie.

Brewmasters Jamie Bishop and Larry Stock have been working hard to keep up with demand from thirsty customers. Since launching Mill House Brewing Company in 2013, the duo have quickly expanded their operation. Last year the company opened up a second brewing location on Hamilton Street in Poughkeepsie.

We were given a tour of the new brewing facility, including their canning line which allows Mill House to now offer their beers in stores throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond. While the brewing team spent a long day canning beer last week, Bishop took a few minutes to show us the entire process from empty can to happy customer.

Cans of Mill House Brewing Company's Kold One are now available at select stores throughout our area. And, of course, you can still sample all of their different styles of beer at the restaurant and brewery on Mill Street in Poughkeepsie.
