If you drive one of the vehicles that are listed, you'll want to call your local Toyota dealer quickly.

It's never a good feeling when you hear about a recall on a vehicle, but usually, it's pretty painless and you just take it to the dealer. Still, it can be a pain! Toyota is the latest brand to issue a recall on some of their vehicles and they are conducting a noncompliance safety recall.

What's specifically getting recalled?

According to Toyota, there is a potential software issue that can cause the Vehicle Stability Control System (VSC) not to default to ON the next time the car is started under some circumstances. Yikes.

What vehicles are being recalled?

Here's the list of certain vehicles:

  • Toyota Venza
  • Mirai
  • RAV4 Hybrid
  • RAV4 Prime
  • Sienna HV
  • Highlander HV
  • Lexus LS500h
  • LX600
  • NX350h
  • NX450h+

Toyota also mentioned that 460,000 vehicles are involved in this recall.

For more information, people are being advised to call the Toyota Brand Engagement Center (1-800-331-4331) and the Toyota vehicles and Lexus Brand Engagement Center (1-800-255-3987) for Lexus vehicles.
