Tax free shopping will begin in November of this year.

According to WTEN, honorably discharged veterans will soon be able to shop online tax free at the Army & Air Force Exchange Service.

The Exchange has thousands of stores on U.S. Army and Air Force bases around the world and offers tons of great deals and discounts for the men and women that are stationed on the bases on everything from electronics to clothing.

The tax free shopping will allow 13 million veterans to shop tax free online as the Exchange does what it can to compete against other online shopping sites like Amazon and others.

If you are a veteran or know someone who is and want to sign up or verify that you are eligible, go to http://www.vetverify.com and fill out the form that they provide, submit it and they will give you a determination as soon as possible.

If you are verified, you will be able to start shopping tax free online on November 11, 2017 at the online exchanges.
