We can’t seem to shake the wet weather here in the Hudson Valley.  Another day of showers and heavy rain in expected on Tuesday.  It will be warm too, temperatures will be near 80.  If you’re a fan of sunshine, then you’ll see that again Wednesday.

An upper level low pressure system and a warm front combine to bring showers and isolated thunderstorms for Tuesday.  Another cold front will pass into the region Wednesday night, which will bring some more showers.

Our next period of dry weather is after Thursday.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Tuesday:  Cloudy, with showers and some afternoon thunderstorm.  High near 81.  Once again, heavy rain is possible.

Tuesday night:  Mostly cloudy, low around 65.  Showers and thunderstorms expected with some more heavy rain from these storms.

Wednesday:  Mostly sunny, with a high near 88.

Thursday:  Mostly sunny, with a slight chance of showers and afternoon thunderstorms.  High near 87.
