Finally there is something to look forward to on Mondays. I am talking about the brand new Poughkeepsie Waterfront Market, which has it's grand opening and ribbon cutting ceremony this Monday, June 5 at 4 pm.

The market will be in the Pavillion at the Mid Hudson Children's Museum at 75 North Water Street in Poughkeepsie every Monday through Oct. 23 from 4 pm - 7:30 pm. And since it is in the fully covered Pavillion, it will held rain or shine. There are many Hudson valley farmers and vendors on board, and you will be able to meet them at the grand opening this Monday. Wright's Farm, Cardoso Cookies, Soukup Farms, Oliver Kita Chocolates, just to name a few.

Going back to work on after a nice weekend is always rough, but it will be a lot easier when you have something to look forward to. And the Poughkeepsie Waterfront Market is definitely something to look forward to. For more information, check out their facebook page. See you at the market!
