We can keep a running list of the fun fairs and festivals that we want to attend this summer in the Hudson Valley. They are fun for all ages, sometimes free and if not, then a small admission fee.

What Festivals Can We Look Forward To Attending This Summer In The Hudson Valley?

The Vintage In The Hudson Valley Festival will take place at Ulster County Fairgrounds in New Paltz. We can attend this event on July 11, 2026 and July 12, 2026!

The Saugerties Food Truck Festival is something that foodies from all over can also attend this summer. This event will take place at the Cantine Veterans Memorial Field in Saugerties on July 3, 2026.

In addition to these Hudson Valley festivals, we can also attend a two day river festival in Sullivan County.

Exciting Two-Day RIver Festival Coming To Sullivan County This Summer

I've been to a bunch of festivals before but I haven't been to a river related one! We can attend the Neversink River Festival at the D&H Canal Park in Cuddebackville.

This festival will take place on August 15, 2026 and August 16, 2026. The Neversink River Festival's hours are from dusk until dawn which sounds like a party that I want to attend!

This event has free admission with a $5 donation for parking. Not only is this something that we can enjoy with family and friends but it also gives back to the community.

On the Neversinkriverfest's website, they highlighted that,

"The festival will raise funds to protect and preserve the river, while bringing activities and entertainment that promote the Town of Deerpark and generate an economic impact."

What Can We Look Forward To At The Neversink River Festival?

On the Neversinkriverfest's website, they gave us some insight into the exciting things we can enjoy at this event. On August 14, 2026, this festival will start the night off with a dance party!

At The Neversink River Festival, we can also enjoy live entertainment from local bands, food and drinks along with line dancing.

For those love shopping, there's going to be local vendors on sites and we can learn about fly fishing.

Eat Your Way Through The Hudson Valley With The Best Ice Cream

I have always enjoyed stopping by my favorite local ice cream shops and choosing a new flavor. Whether it's a hot fudge sundae, chocolate peanut butter ice cream in a cone, or an ice cream sandwich, count me in.

The Hudson Valley has strange ice cream flavors. From lemon poppyseed to thai iced tea and barn boots, there aren't any boring flavors in our area.

A 'Premiere' Hudson Valley treat shop was expanding their space during the winter months to prepare for a busy summer season.

Thankfully, we have a large selection of local ice cream shops to visit in the Hudson Valley.
