Sprout Creek Summer Camp Open House This Weekend

If you’ve never been to Sprout Creek Farm, this Sunday is a perfect day.  They are holding an open house.  You can meet their newest calves and check to see if their last doe has her babies.  Run in the barns and pastures.  There will be bouncy houses, face painting, hay rides and farm market vendors giving out free samples of their locally made products.

Sprout Creek is a nonprofit working farm with the mission of helping to connect young people to the land.  Covering some 200 acres in Dutchess County.  They have a summer camp and as part of the open house on Sunday, June 10, you can meet the summer camp staff and even get a discount for camp.   Register for summer camp and you’ll get a 10% discount.  They offer day and overnight camps throughout the summer.  Local residents can also check out all the great local foods, like their cheese produced on the farm.
