Summer is almost here and if you're looking to get your kids out of the house and keep them active all while learning about the Hudson Valley this could be the camp for them.

Vanderbilt Mansion historic site announced that their Junior Ranger Camp is back for the 2019 season.

The camp will be held at three different locations around the Hudson Valley. Campers can attend sessions in Hyde Park at the Home of Franklin D. Roosevelt, Eleanor Roosevelt NHS, and Vanderbilt Mansion NHS.

According to the website, the camp will have a variety of activities that are" interactive and hands on." Campers will "interact with multiple park rangers of various backgrounds to provide a unique experience in the park. Programs will also focus on telling lesser known stories and encouraging stewardship in the park and your communities."
