Poughkeepsie’s Christmas Parade in Just 2.5 Minutes

This year was the 24th annual Celebration of Lights in the City of Poughkeepsie. Every year the city celebrates the beginning of the holiday season with a huge parade, tree lightings and fireworks.Businesses throughout the city participate by joining the parade and opening up their doors for people celebrating along the parade route.
After Santa lights the tree at Dongan Square Park the sky lights up over the Hudson River with a spectacular fireworks display. This year's show was one of the best-reviewed fireworks displays in years.
