The Our Lady of Lourdes boys basketball team is just one win away from their first ever state title, as they defeated Southhampton from Long Island 70 to 67 at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.

James Anozie led the Warriors a double-double, 25 points and 10 rebounds and Aiden Hildebrand scored 21. The Poughkeepsie based school will now take on section 5's Irondequoit at 12noon on Sunday for the NYSPHSAA boys basketball state championship.  The last time a high school team from Dutchess County won a state title was Millbrook back in 1999.

The game will again be played at Binghamton's Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena and the game will be televised by Spectrum Sports channel 323.  It will also be streamed at myspectrumsports.com.  Users must have a subscription to Spectrum Cable to watch the game online.
