New Restaurant Coming to Popular Hudson Valley Location
If you like tacos and tequila, you're going to love this.
One of the things I think about when I'm driving around the Hudson Valley is that it's sad to see how many restaurants and bars have come and gone over the years and I hate driving past places that just sit there vacant.
So when I heard about this, I was super excited. Working in Poughkeepsie for 20 years I have been to a ton of places to eat and drink and back like 10-12 years ago one of my favorite places to go was Uno's on Main Street in Poughkeepsie, they had a great staff and I always had a good time anytime I went there and when they closed up a few years ago I was disappointed.
The prime restaurant location, near the 44/55 split in Poughkeepsie, has sat vacant for quite some time since Uno's left and now it looks like a new restaurant is coming soon.
According to their Facebook page Frontera Tacos & Tequila Poughkeepsie is set to open soon with a menu concentrated on Mexican favorites that showcase the flavors south of the border.
According to their website, they are promising us "utterly great food and provide world-class hospitality, with the goal of not just serving great food, but adding a whole new generation of loyal guests."
If the name Frontera Tacos & Tequila sounds familiar, they have a location in Connecticut and a new location at 330 Rt 211 East in Middletown.
