'An Artistic Taste' Opens New Location in Newburgh, NY

The Hudson Valley has quietly welcomed a new restaurant to Newburgh, NY... and it's already open for business.

It hasn't always been easy for entrepreneurs in the city of Newburgh, and while the new restaurant's location is prime, the building has seen two previous businesses close their doors within the last two years. Luckily, the latest resident at 96 Broadway has some tricks up its sleeve.

An Artistic Taste Opens Second Hudson Valley Location

The first positive sign for the restaurant, called An Artistic Taste, is that it's not the owner's first rodeo. In fact, the restaurant was originally founded back in 2012 in Harriman, NY (below), with Newburgh being tapped for its second location. The other positive sign is its cuisine...

New Jamaican Restaurant in Newburgh, NY

An Artistic Taste describes its menu as Jamaican fusion, with its Newburgh menu containing everything from classics like oxtail and jerk chicken to more experimental dishes like surf and turf dumplings and oyster mushroom wagyu (below). The restaurant is also a continuation of an exciting Hudson Valley trend.

While An Artistic Taste only recently had their soft opening on July 16th (above), Newburgh residents are already supplying strong feedback. "We were there tonight and everything was delicious!! We loved it when we lived in Harriman and we’re thrilled you’re in Newburgh, our new home!", exclaimed one diner. "Your food is amazing", shared another.
