Most Expensive House in New Paltz, NY

I should say this was the most expensive house for sale in the area. After a recent $298,500 price cut (which is honestly the total budget of what most of us can afford), it's the second-most expensive listing, missing the top billing by just $4,500. What you get for the money, though, is very impressive.

Live Next to the Mohonk Preserve

Not only does the house boast 24 acres of beautiful private land, it's right next to the Mohonk Preserve, which means the surrounding nature will stay nature. It also means you can literally hike Mohonk from your backyard. In addition to the fields and forests, you will also enjoy your own 6-acre lake.

While the outside is breathtaking, the interior is equally impressive. The house is mostly windows, which means you can enjoy the views from almost anywhere.

That floor-to-ceiling fireplace you see above was constructed entirely out of stones found on the property. There's also a heated pool, hot tub, and sauna, not to mention a completely self-sufficient apartment downstairs. Check out everything this amazing home has to offer below.
