More Hudson Valley Films Coming to the Big Screen

Have you seen A Quiet Place yet?

If you haven't you're missing out on one the most creative horror movies over the last few years.

The best part about A Quiet Place? Some parts were filmed right here in the Hudson Valley. Beacon, Putnam and Kingston were some of the locations around the Valley where filming took place.

These are all popular locations for other feature films to get the cameras rolling.

The next time we'll see the Hudson Valley on the big screen is during The Escape of Prisoner 614 starring Ron Perlman (Sons of Anarchy) , Martin Starr (Freaks and Geeks), Jake McDorman(Limitless), and George Sample III.

Back in 2017 The Escape of Prisoner 614 filmed in Phoenicia, Shandaken, Arkville and Saugerties.

According to the Hudson Valley Film Commission Prisoner 614 was picked up by Saban Films during the Berlin Film Festival. The film will be premiering in ten cities on April 27th and available on Video on Demand.

Diane, Fabled and The Seagull are three more films that planted their roots in the Hudson Valley that will be getting theatrical premiers.
