Mild Start to October in the Hudson Valley
The first week of October won't feel much different from September, as mild weather will stick around the Hudson Valley.
Monday will start off cloudy and gray but will end on a sunny note. Temperatures will be in the low 70s with lows in the 50s.
The rest of the week should remain mild, with highs in the 70s under partly cloudy skies.
Forecasters say that lows in the area will dip down into the 40s by Tuesday night.
Meteorologists have predicted a warmer than average autumn for the northeast, so this isn't too unusual. Don't get too used to the pleasant weather though, as long range forecasts say the northeast will have a colder and snowier than average winter this year.
Of course, these predictions could be all wrong, so you always have to play it by ear.
