Michael Victor Petrocelli, A US Veteran and New Windsor Resident, Dies at 58
Michael Victor Petrocelli, of New Windsor, NY, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 18, 2017. He was 58. The son of the late M. Petrocelli Frances (Stasio) Petrocelli, he was born July 21, 1958 in Brooklyn, NY. He married Christina Petrocelli on July 2, 2010. Christina survives at home.
Michael lived to serve his country and proudly served for 37 years in the Infantry Army with the 105th Air Guard, and as Security Police with the Air Force. He was a First Responder to 9/11. He will be remembered for making people laugh, singing along to his favorite Frank Sinatra songs, and being the “Car Karaoke Champion”. He was a dedicated husband and father, and will be truly missed. “143”.
In addition to his wife Christina, he is survived by his children, Michael Petrocelli Jr., Joseph Petrocelli, Annabella Petrocelli, and Giovanni Petrocelli; his sisters Josephine “JoJo” Boestfleisch of New Windsor and Michele Rizzuto of Florida; brother-in-law Ronald Boestfleisch; several nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog, Elmo.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 2 pm on Wednesday, February 8 at Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor.
