Ulster BOCES Teacher Arrested for Sexual Misconduct with Student

On October 25th, 2023, detectives from the Ulster County Sherfiff's Office began an investigation after receiving information of an alleged in appropriate relationship between a teacher and a student. Authorities report that the teacher, Ellenville resident Ronnie Greene gave the pupil a cell phone for private sexual conversations. After surrendering to detectives on Thursday, December 7th, Greene was arraigned in the Town of Esopus Justice Court and released on his own recognizance. Greene will be back in court at a future date.

According to Ronnie Greene's LinkedIn, he worked at the New York State Department of Labor for 3 years from the end of 2011 to the beginning of 2015. It was at that point he started working as an Industrial Arts Teacher at Ulster BOCES. Greene is also a self-employed Health Coach in the Ulster County area.

The case remains open as the investigation is ongoing.
