Awesome Change for Popular Bad Seed Tasting Room
The Hudson Valley is full of amazing breweries, distilleries, and cideries, and one of our most famous brands has just made an amazing addition to their taproom.
Bad Seed Hard Cider in Highland, NY has been a community favorite for nearly twenty years and produces some of the best-tasting ciders in the country... and we were met with some great news when we visited their taproom last weekend.
New Updates to the Bad Seed Hard Cider Tasting Room in Highland, NY
Since Bad Seed was founded in 2011, they have evolved from a "best-kept secret" in the Hudson Valley to a successful cider producer that I'm always happy to see on restaurant menus throughout the tristate area (next time you're in Brooklyn, check out Hoek for their pizza and grab a Bad Seed to drink). But back to the taproom and their newest addition...
New Sunday Brunch Menu at Bad Seed Hard Cider Tasting Room in Highland, NY
My wife and I stopped by their tasting room for the first time last weekend and we were very happy to be surprised with the news that Bad Seed now has a Sunday brunch menu... and it's a good one. In addition to their ciders, select Hudson Valley beers, and even cider mimosas, Bad Seed now offers everything from chicken and waffles to breakfast bowls.
Brunch Options at Bad Seed Hard Cider in Highland, NY
I opted for the Cider Makers Egg Sandwich on what may have been the best brioche bun I've ever tasted, and my wife ordered the Farmers Breakfast Bowl that came with enough cheesy potatoes to easily feed two people (you need room for cider, after all). Check out their full menu below.
Bad Seed Hard Cider Brunch Menu
As Bad Seed says on their menu, "brunch without booze is just boring late breakfast", so we of course had to try a full flight of ciders along with our meals. Aside from their classic dry cider (my favorite), we were impressed with their "hint of raspberry" cider as well as their full-bodied pumpkin cider. We also went home with a 750mL bottle of a spiced cider that was aged in rum casks, an easy purchase after having one of the best brunch sandwiches in recent memory.
Bad Seed's Sunday brunch menu is an addition to their other food options, including myriad pizza options on Saturdays and Sundays. They are located at 43 Baileys Gap Rd in Highland, NY and are both family and dog friendly.
