Is The Coffee Float The New Summer Ice Cream Trend?
Do we have a new summer ice cream trend on our hands for 2025?
Is The Coffee Float The New Summer Ice Cream Trend?
Over the last few days I've began to notice a pattern on my social media feed. Now that the weather has warmed up everyone is heading out to their favorite local ice cream shop.
It seems that they all are on the same page when it comes to trendy ice cream ideas for 2025. The Coffee Float looks like it might be the ice cream concoction of the summer.
Zoe's in LaGrange caught my attention first with this one and it looks fairly simply. Iced Coffee or Cold Brew over soft serve ice cream. Stew Leonard's has gotten in on the trend too:
I'm not too sure where it started, but I'm here for it! Caffein and ice cream? Best combo in the world.
Some may argue that it's just like the Italian dessert affogato, but technically affogato is ice cream drowned in hot espresso.
Another Summer Trend For 2025: The Weiner Tower
When it comes to the most popular summer foods, most folks probably think about a deliciously grilled hot dog, right? Well, back in April one restaurant in Charleston South Caroline decided to take a fancy dinner classic and put a fun summer twist on it.
Think of your typical seafood tower. Now, take away all the seafood and replace it with hot dogs and you've got yourself the most ingenious idea! That's what the team at Lamar Sporting Club did, according to The New York Post.
They teamed up with Sir Weiner and created a $60 hot dog tower. It's been a slow burn, but I have a feeling the Weiner Tower will be all the crazy by 4th of July 2025.
Where Is Your Favorite Hot Dog Spot in the Hudson Valley?
