Earth Day is an annual celebration to raise the public’s knowledge of ways to prevent pollution and how to protect the planet. This worldwide event reminds us why Earth Day is important.

On April 22, 1970 there were mass rallies in various locations with the same idea of preserving our environment, wildlife and resources.

Let’s start with simple changes

A simple way to celebrate Earth Day is recycling. Not only can you help the environment but clean out your space too. Also, just by remembering to turn off the lights at home and work can be can make a difference.

We can all agree that we want to live in a healthy and clean world. The beauty of Mother Nature reminds us to maintain and appreciate such things as our parks, hiking trails and the animal friends we meet along the way and their habitats.

Why not plant a tree or maintain a garden?

The following are ways you can get involved in the Hudson Valley and have a good time as well!
