Once this heat wave passes, it's looking like a smooth road to autumn here in the Hudson Valley.

What better way to spend a chilly evening then curled up on your couch with hot cider (or a pumpkin spice latte) while binge watching Netflix? It really doesn't get much better than that.

There are some great movies and television shows making their way to Netflix for September. According to Refinery 29 , there are a ton of classic movies, new releases and Netflix originals for you to look forward to. Some of them carrying some strong Hudson Valley connections.

Movie classics like Ground Hogs Day, Scarface and The Breakfast Club are already available for streaming. Disney is throwing their hat in the Netflix game too, with Lilo & Stitch, The Emperors New Groove, Pirates of the Caribbean and A Wrinkle in Time all coming this month.

Season 8 of The Walking Dead, starring Hudson Valley resident Jefferey Dean Morgan, will be available September 23rd.

On September 21st is the arrival of the Netflix original Maniac, which features Emma Stone and Jonah Hill. The limited series was filmed in parts of Ulster and Orange County.

Blockbuster superhero movies like Black Panther and Spiderman Man 3 are also ready for your viewing pleasure.
