Wrapping up the work week with another nice day.  Dry and seasonal weather continues, a bit cooler, temperatures will say in the high 70’s.  An approaching low-pressure system will bring periods of rain for the weekend and possible thunderstorms on Sunday.

The system looks like a slow mover, so it will linger for most of the weekend.  There isn’t much instability in the system, so no storms expected for Saturday.  A second wave of low pressure will move in on Sunday and this system will be unstable, giving up a great risk for thunderstorms.

Here’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service:

Friday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 77.  There will be a nice southern breeze in the afternoon.

Friday night:  Increasing clouds, with a low near 58.

Saturday:  Cloudy, with showers in the afternoon.  High near 71.

Sunday:  Cloudy, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms possible in the afternoon.  High of 83.
