Dorothy E. “Dotty” Weber, A Newburgh Resident, Dies at 71
Dorothy E. “Dotty” Weber, of Newburgh, entered into rest Saturday, February 4, 2017 at home. She was 71.
The daughter of the late James and Doris (Broadhead) Stansfield, she was born March 4, 1945 in Paterson, NJ. She was married to the late Paul Weber, who predeceased her in 2008.
Dotty retired from the Newburgh Enlarged School District as a Nurse’s Aide. She always held a fondness for the City of Newburgh Police Department, and loved sending them meals to show them how much she appreciated their work.
Dotty is survived by her children, Tammy Dapp, Paula Hlavacek and her husband Rick, and Paul Weber and his wife Maria; and grandchildren, James and Thomas Dapp and Maryn Weber. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her brother James Stansfield.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Tuesday, February 7 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A service will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday, February 8 at the funeral home, with burial following in Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor.
